    Nice to look at but not durable

    Bought these because I had some in the past were the most durable glasses I owned with aluminum frames with no hinges. I got these and they look great but the frames are plastic they fell off my head within the first hour picked them up and lenses had a big scratch in it. Not what I expected from fast “ metal”

    We apologize that the Sundown sunglasses did not meet your expectations. Take a look at our sunglass lanyard in the accessories section for an item that will help any pair of sunglasses hold through a wide range of motion and activity. Regarding your damaged lens, all our sunglass models whether metal or grilamid nylon (often referred to as plastic) use the same top-quality lens. These are as tough as they come, but even the best lens is still a fragile thing. If something managed to scratch it, we guarantee that our aluminum sunglasses or even a competing brand of lenses would have suffered the same fate. If you prefer aluminum sunglasses, be sure to check the product description of the pair you are interested in where we list the frame material as well as other specifications. Finally, as always, we want you to be happy with your purchase.
